My OH scrubs up well bless him. :p And like fannyannas OH he's always complimenting me but it's to get in my pants, my husband has the gift of the gab in that department. :D

    Happy moneysaving all.

Looks aren’t really important to me, I’ve never really been attracted to someone based on their looks as a starting point.

Same here and people find that really weird. I have never been out and seen a guy and thought 'wow, who is he?!!' in the way other women do. I've only thought 'wow' once I know them a bit. I'm the same with celeb crushes. I have never seen a actor on a poster and been attracted to them. I've only fancied someone because I fell for their acting or saw them being interviewed.

Thanks for all the replies so far!!!! :D Makes very interesting reading!! ;)

I'm one of those who thinks their OH is just theeeee most gorgeous guy ever!! :o:D (although I do realise he wouldn't be everyones cuppa tea) Sometimes I look at him and go 'wow': whether he's dressed in a suit (O.M.G.!!), dressed for work (he drives a lorry! :p), pottering about the house in his comfies, or straight outta the shower ( O.M.G.! O.M.G.!) ;)

Unfortunately OH doesn't quite think the same about me in the looks department (his choice of words sometimes leaves a lot to be desired!), but it sure doesn't affect the bedroom department ;):rotfl::rotfl:

But I'm the same as Tiglath: I'm only average looking really but I'm happy about it all (except for the occasional 'wobble' :p)

    I'm exactly the same.

And to tell the truth, I think if someone was "classically handsome" it might put me off a bit, in the first instance.

My OH is absolutely gorgeous - and I'm constantly surprised that people seem to agree politely rather than nod emphatically and try to steal him!

He's the same about me - it's rather lovely being bathed in this adoration. My ex-h used to call me a "burst couch" (although he's now on wife No.3 who is two years older than our daughter  )

My husband is very similar looking to Matthew McFayden so I think he's pretty hot.:D

He compliments me quite a bit so I'm happy:cool:

he woke up last night and kissed me saying 'i just had to kiss you cos you're so beautiful'. but that was in defence of me saying 'not now love' lol
he often tells me i'm beautiful but the exact opposite times i'd want him to. he says i'm beautiful first thing in the morning, which is lovely but he doesn't say anything when i've dolled myself up until i say 'whatcha think' and he says 'you look nice'. to which he gets 'curtains are nice' huffed at him. you think he'd learn really :rotfl:
He also vehemently denies that i am fat when all the evidence says i'm a heffer :o

I think he's very handsome, he has the most gorgeous brown eyes, but has no self confidence and an odd walk* so he doesn't come across as attractive i don't think because the men who turn my head are the ones that ooze sex, as my sister once put it.
Other women have flirted with him in my company though so he must be attractive to them. he never realises though, the last time it happened i had to ask 'why do you think she listened to you talk about insurance for half an hour?' lol

My OH is the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. Beautiful eyes, lovely hair, lithe, compact body and a smile to die for...and it's all coupled with a wonderful personality and sense of confidence and self worth.

I don't know why he's with me - I'm short, fat and plain-faced - but it makes my tummy flip when he wraps his arms round me and says "mine".

  • He's gorgeous and I'm not the only one who thinks so. I know people wonder how I managed to end up with him because he really is way out of my league, but he genuinely thinks I'm the most attractive woman in the world which is all that matters to me!

I was never particularly attracted to what people would call good looking men eg . Paul McCartney was considered the most popular Beatle . I liked Ringo ! Way back in 1975 when I met DH , the look for guys was slim/skinny and he had that look . When I look back at photos he was cute and baby faced . I thought he was lovely . Now he's still slim , has own hair and teeth too ! He wears modern clothes and looks good . He's average looking , scrubs up well and makes me laugh . Looks fade and personality is more important . He compliments me and has never made any comment that would make me feel unattractive . I try to make the most of myself and think I look ok sometimes , not so ok other times like everyone else .
