Hey good lookin'...!

...or not???

How do you feel about your OHs looks? Is he/she the most good looking/gorgeous person you've ever clapped eyes on? Or do you only think 'wow' when they dress up for a night out?

And how does your OH make you feel about yourself and your looks? Do they make you feel like you're one in a million? Or you're a 'Plain Jane/John' who wouldn't stand out in a crowd?

I do realise that looks aren't everything and you should never judge a book by it's cover, but I'm curious as to how others think!!

:)

  • I think my OH is gorgeous all the time (although it's definitely magnified when he wears a suit!) I still have those 'I can't believe HE is with ME' moments even now lol. I tell him all the time that I think he's good looking but he never believes me unfortunately.

He makes me feel a million dollars all the time too. He's always telling me how attractive he finds me etc and I think it helps to keep the spark in our relationship.

I'm married to the only man I met who I fell in love with before we physically met, so how he looks became irrelevant. First time that happened for me that way round and I've never been happier, which makes me feel like a million dollars (even if I don't look it!)

This sounds awful but if I look objectively I don't generally think my Husband is good looking (although I would never ever say that to him). I say that in the sense of I wouldn't look twice at him on the street if I didn't know him.

However, because of his personality and my feelings towards him I am attracted to him. I often give him compliments on both his personal and physical qualities.

My Husband is very complimentary about me and my looks (although half the time I think he's just hoping to get lucky lol).

Edit: Having read this back I realise I have implied my Husband looks like some kind of beast. He really doesn't. What I mean is he's not one of those guys that you look at and go phwoar but he's faaar from ugly.

I don't think we really look at each other after all these years, but I definitely notice when he rolls up his shirtsleeves because I have a thing about muscular forearms. I've never been bothered about receiving compliments and I'm only average looking really but I'm happy about it all.

I know looks are subjective but my bf is a looker. He gets a lot of second glances from girls, and they practically throw themselves in his direction if we go clubbing etc.

Might sound big headed but I know I'm good looking too, I model to put myself through uni, I've done topshop and jw among various others.

I still get a little flip in my stomach when my OH comes home in his work clothes. He looks great dressed up, and the rare occasions when I see him in a suit - but it's the everyday work clothes that look the best to me (can't beat a bit of rough lol!)

My OH is like a really good bottle of wine. He was ( so I think ) good looking when he was younger, but now he is getting older he is maturing and getting better.

Me well I am like a cream cake. Looked fab for a while but now I am starting to sag a little and look a bit green around the gills.

Thank God not past the sell by date just yet! ha ha

My OH looks like a mass murderer. Seriously, he's big and dark and scarey looking, people take a step back if he comes up and starts talking to them unexpectedly. he's soft as butter though, small children and animals adore him and he's got a lot of time for folk. As to what I think? Well, he's tall with a great body but the face...he always looks like he's about to lose his temper. It's the eyebrows, I think!

As to what he thinks of me? No idea, he never says. Always up for a cuddle though.

I don't suppose my OH would necessarily be considered a looker by others, he's a bit chunky, (which does it for me because I hate skinny men) and his hair is thining a bit, but if I see him somewhere I don't expect him to be I still get that 'phwoar, I could go for that' feeling for a split second before I realise it's him. He still makes my tummy flip when he walks in a room, especially when he's all dressed up in a suit.

I, on the other hand, am comparatively gorgeous, and he's always being asked how he managed to pull me :D
(note the use of the word comparatively!)

My OH is a mechanic so comes home covered in oil and much most of the time! I think he is reasonably good looking, but looks smashing when he’s done up in a smart shirt or a suit.

Looks aren’t really important to me, I’ve never really been attracted to someone based on their looks as a starting point.
My ex, who I had a real soft spot for, was as skinny as a rake, had a huge chin and was going bald by his 20s but there was something about him that made my stomach flip!

I find confidence and a sense of humour a lot more sexy than looks tbh
