pension rights re divorce

if this has aleady been asked sorry. when ex & i divorced i was awarded 50% of his pension up2 the date we split up.i have, on the advice of independant advisor left it where it is (paperwork still being sorted) if i was in future to remarry would this forfiet my right to this pension

You shouldn't do: but I would suggest you sort the paperwork, set up your new pension plan and move the money out now, just so there can be no dispute about how much is yourse and how much isn't.
