Hi, has anyone used weddington way website? Looking at it for bridesmaids dresses, they have great variety, but a little dubious about ordering online. Any feedback, good or bad with be great.
Thanks

My friend used them for her wedding which is a couple of weeks. She said they were good to deal with, but once she'd paid the shipping/import costs, she didn't really make a massive saving.

I looked at them earlier for Dessy dresses, I found another site called www.bridesmaids.com who also ship to the UK. The shipping for 2 dress was $80 and that includes insurance was going to talk to customs tomorrow to get an idea of duty. The dresses I liked were $220 on weddington and $150 on bridesmaids

Will do Jessycat. I have emailed them a couple of times with questions and they have been great at responding.

    Hi Jessycat
I have spoken to the company that set the tariffs and dresses from US attract 12% duty and then you have to pay 20% vat.
My dresses in the UK were £200 each, if I was to order from www.bridesmaids.com and take into account freight, duty, vat and paying for a rush service as they are quoting 16wks and the bridal shop in the UK is quoting 12weeks it works out at £209 per dress :-(

    Oh well!
Will have to order from UK
