I've recently seen a poster warning the public to be vigilant regarding terrorists & the purchase & use of multiple mobile phones. i would regard his 'purchase' as suspicious as he now has a huge number of untrackable mobile sims & has clearly gone to great lengths to avoid them being tracked to him (providing a false address etc etc etc). just a thought, if he was an honest person there would be no need to provide false details or to scam you, there might be more going on that you know! what were the other purchases for, do you know?

Try getting a delivary number anyway, doesn't matter now what happens, you just need to win that dispute and keep your money!

My thoughts exactly. If any of these SIMs end up being used for criminal or terrorist activities the first port of call will be the hapless seller (the aptly named Boo Boo) or the last registered owner.

It's important when selling mobile phones to always keep a detailed record of the buyers (copy of their photo ID) and serial numbers and/or phone numbers as proof of sale. Too many sob stories on MSE of sellers getting scammed out of their goods by accepting PayPal for pickup, then the buyer doing a 'vanishing' act. Hopefully this tale will prevent someone else falling victim to these scammers.

Boo Boo should report this incident to his local CID as these scammers are often well known if 'locals'... alternately send an email to the Mets' or MI-5's anti-terrorist unit giving the buyers PayPal details and see if they are interested. :-)

I have done that very thing my buyer paid via paypal and then collected that night , thankfully he was a honest buyer but after this i wont do it again.

You have proof he paid with paypal and collected as if he won them that day and collected that night there is no postage service that good and you say he opened the dispute straight away so he has proved it himself , it must say what his dispute is for and as far as i know paypal can only freeze they amount he is disputing and can only refund if you agree to the dispute , which you dont and his feedback now proves what sort of person he is.

you could check out if the person is living at another address and using a mates address.
    goto https://www.192.com
i had this problem before and found out a guy had left a house 3 years before and was told by new owner of house...same number on phone..that she didnt know where he lived..then i discovered he lived round the corner ...tracked him down to his works and he soon responded when he knew i had clocked him.
also check out bt.com and see if the person is on the phone and ring that number and ask for him.

I tried https://www.192.com, he doesn't live at address he gave. No way of tracing him
He's given me negative feedback said that I'm a timewaster and all 300 sim envelopes were empty. So I guess thats what he'll be using in the dispute with paypal. His word against mine and paypal always seem to protect the buyer rather than the seller.
