Mortgage Application Help - Default on Credit File

I want to start applying for a mortgage, but I have one default on my credit file of £34. This was due to me moving house and missing the demand for payment letters.

I resolved this which is clearly stated on my credit file of the circumstances.

I have been informed that i may struggle, is there any lenders out there that will help. What are my options:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(

I have 10% to put down and can more than afford the monthly payments:(:(

When was the default registered and when was it satisfied? Presuming it has.

It was registered in July 11 and satisfied with comments the same month.
As soon as I received a letter chasing the payment, I phoned them up and paid over the phone.

On another note how do I get this removed? It was from a catalogue company so will ringing them or writing to explain about the house move causing the issue in the first place help?
Its a 1-off £34 missed (late) payment that is potentially stopping me getting onto the housing ladder!

They wont remove it, its valid.

You just have to work around it. Its nearly 2 years old so im sure it wont stop you getting a mortgage, it might just narrow down who you can use. Its probably worth a chat with a mortgage broker so they can avoid the companies who will not touch you and avoid making your credit score worse.
