Cheapest place to buy wholemeal pasta.

Hi,

As I normally shop in Aldi with another trip to Asda for stuff I can't get, apart from there, Is there anywhere that sells wholewheat pasta cheaper than Asda?

Don't know how much it is in Asda, but Sainsbury's do own brand wholewheat penne and fusilli for £1.79 per kilo

Sainsbury's own brand 500g pasta is on offer at the moment at 2 for £1.70, and the wholewheat is included - I think I saw spaghetti and fusilli but there may have been others.

Tesco do organic wholewheat spaghetti for 2 for £1.20, sometimes you get it as low as 50p a pack, I got my last lot of wholewheat penne out of approved foods. (online).

Tesco are doing wholemeal fusilli and penne in 500g packs, any two packs for £1.50

Morissons had an identical offer last time I looked.

I'm now down to my last pack of 22p Tesco wholemeal penne, from the stockpile I built after learning of the offer on this board. I check the aisle every time I go in, in case a similar offer returns!

Tesco now have wholewheat fusilli and penne at 50p for 500g.

Lidl has cheap organic wholewheat pasta but as I don't buy it I don't know the price sorry. ASDA is pretty cheap for pasta even organic but tho my local store is huge it doesn't carry much wholewheat or organic so yours may not do so either
