Career Development Loan- Not showing in credit check
I took out a £6500 career development loan with Coop in March 2010 and am paying this off over 60 months.
When doing a credit check, I was surprised to find that this loan does not appear in my credit history at all. It shows that I have a bank account with Coop which has a zero balance but does not show the overall loan balance and that I have been making regular repayments since November 2010.
Is this normal for a career development loan?

Have you got your report from all 3 CRA's (Experian, Equifax and Call Credit), lenders don't always report to all 3...so it may be showing on one of the 3.
Also the 0 wont necessarily represent the current balance but more what you are overdrawn/owe...0 -
Yep, I've checked all 3 and it doesn't appear on any of them. Just shows a bank account with 0 balance and says I have 0 credit available on that account. It does not show the 25+ repayments I have made on time or the 3500 (ish) that is remaining...0

My free credit report from Noddle also shows my Co-op Career Development Loan as a Co-op bank account with a zero balance, FYI.0
