Anyone has the right to protest - free country and all that.
Were you aware that they wanted to have a paid employee before they told you you would need to stand aside?
Are you a member of the church? Is the person being appointed a member of the church? (It sounds as though they do actually have someone lined up for the job - is that the case?)0 -
