*Did the ironing & turned off iron for the last item.....whoever on here suggested this tip, I do it everytime now.........any tiny thing to help erode rising energy bills!

I turn off the oven/grill for the last 5 minutes and the electric hob for the last 3 minutes of cooking time, if that helps.

Well done on the exam Candy.

I've got a job interview on Monday. :jSaw it advertised on Gumtree Jobs s'morning, sent in a CV and ten minutes later got a call for an interview. There's a lot of jobs advertised on there...and a lot of "earn £500 a day" nonsense. (Link)

    Today I will:
    1. Do Nectar AdPoints. 93% of the way to a £5 Sainsbury's voucher. Done
    2. Do OnePoll. 56% off the way to a £40 payout. Done
    3. Leave the heating off as long as possible.Came home drenched with rain. Heating straight on!
    4. Go to Jobcentre. I can hardly wait to claim today's free gift...all the insults and sarcasm you can eat, no doubt...:D Today's experience: Jobcentre Advisor mumbled so much I had to ask him to repeat everything twice, he wasn't interested in whether I'd been job-hunting, only where I was originally from and if I new a wee village near my hometown, and said Advisor kept referring to my poor OH as "Mr" to her face(!) when she is clearly female! She is a little butch but no way does she look like a guy and she even has a girl's name!
    5. Go to library. Charge laptop while there. Library has changed it's opening times, but not updated the website to say as much. Walked a long way to get there to find the door shut.
    6. Charge mobiles in car when driving to Jobcentre. Done.

Good luck to you Ally - the Job Centre staff are always a joy.....I have only been to our local job centre for 3 visits and they were all experiences !

Have you been watching the Job Centre on ITV ?

I haven't seen it. Trying to not put the tv on too much to save on electricity...

I can but the nearest library is 6 miles away as our library is getting re-built.
