They can only default you once - but the default will be continuous for 6 years when it will drop off credit report. Not sure if this debt could be included in BR.
Mama read so much about the dangers of drinking alcohol and eating chocolate that she immediately gave up reading.

It doesn't sound like the liability was incurred pre-bankruptcy. The default stays on your file six years, as does your bankruptcy. So it's not too much of a surprise that you are having problems.

Try for a basic bank account

and get a sub-prime credit card, paying in full every month, to try to rebuild your history.

Ok i understand.. but i have paid the debt in full and in theory the account should say settled and no more defaults made on me even though i am aware it waill take six years to drop it says

can you now see my point? each time a default is made i get back squadded a full 6 years from that date of the last default, even the credit reference agency say it shouldnt be happening and i have to approach them direct. i have now done that and have given them 5 weeks so what now now would ofcom be a good bet?
thanks for the link with the bank accounts fatbelly :) and thanks for the replys
