Hi,
I am just off the phone with NDR.
my account is currently at £1970.21. I had hours cut at work I and I cannot afford to make the monthly payments of £180 as they are suggesting. I told them the most i can pay is £30 a month but they are having none of it and said the minumum i can pay is £130.
What shall i do? Like i said I can only afford £30 a month
Thanks
Kim

You tell them what you will be paying, not the other way around.Still rolling rolling rolling......

They dont own you...you owe them some money but you are in charge of your financial life, not them.
You need to speak to customer services and ask to be put through to the 'debt management department'. You then tell the CSO that you are experiencing difficulties and you will be paying £30 this month. You then negotiate a sensible repayment plan that takes into account your circumstances.
That's the end of it. They dont dictate to you.Debt Free! Long road, but we did it

They cannot make you pay what you cannot afford, but that will not stop them trying. On a separate approach, why not post up a Statement of Affairs here and see if people can come up with some advice to help you in your wider financial affairs.0

£30 per month is better than nothing; stick to your guns and say you will consider increasing the amount if your situation improves. These people will try anything to get you to pay more. What they hate is people with knowledge and determination.0

Write to them, tell them what you can afford, ask them why as you are financial difficulty they are not treating you fairly.
They tell you stuff on he phone they will never send in writing.
NDR are useless in my experience.
Is the cut in hours temporary?:beer:0 -
Ask them to put it in writing that they are refusing your offer. they will soon go away.0
