    Sorry. I shouldn't have posted so late last night. Could it be that the condensation is forming in the sealed box?

    I made a bread bag by folding a thick cotton tea towel in half and sewing along the seam, which worked fine with the open end folded over. Eventually I added a drawstring to the opening, which means it hangs up out of the way of any spillages. It seems to work, the bread stays fresh for a few days, if it isn't all eaten within a few hours!

    My old enamel bread bin is really good for keeping...laundry gloop fresh.
