Anyone lives around by me the Council are giving away free bags of compost again, mark it on your calender.

Knowsley’s composting call up
Knowsley residents can celebrate Compost Awareness Week (6-12 May) by getting involved with the council’s FREE compost giveaway.
Green fingered residents can collect up to three 20kg bags of compost at three ‘giveaway’ events on Sunday 12 May 2013, between 10am and 1pm at the following venues:
Limited supplies will also be available at further giveaways at Huyton, Kirkby and Prescot town centres being held during and after Compost Awareness Week, when residents can also buy discounted compost bins.

Phone up your Council and ask, i presume others do it as well. All they do is when they take your 'green' rubbish away it's made into compost, i think maybe they sell some but to encourage people to garden and waste less they give a little away.Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,
