Claiming Money Back from Wrong Account

I accidentally gave a client of mine the wrong account details for them to pay me their final deposit.
I realised my mistake within minutes and emailed them but the payment had already been made.
They contacted the bank immediately but the bank are refusing to claim the money back from the other account stating that my client had input the numbers and clicked ok.
Surely we should be able to get the money back from this other account?
Can anyone help myself and my client out here please?

You presumably know whose the wrong account is - you approach them apologetically and ask for the money back.
If they refuse you sue them.0 -
We know the account details of the recipient yes - we would have to write to them via the bank, thanks.0

If the account details do not belong to anyone, then the payment is usually returned by the receiving bank after about a week.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
