MBS in LBS

There a topic currently being discussed about MBA. I've heard about LBS. The cost is whooping £60K for 20 month part time but is it worth the money if done along with a current job of £50K.

Do Employer really give high preference for someone from LBS.
Does it really give that value! £60K is a lot of money.

  • London Business School?

Master bachelor of Science as opposed to Arts?

Not sure but that's my guesses... A heck of an investment and I'd expect to able to get a high paid job afterwards, only you know whether the cost, both monetary, and time & effort is worth the potential gain from having the qualification?

Is English not your first language? An MBA can certainly increase your earning potential, but I would focus on perfecting your English skills first as this will hinder your prospects. Your language skills are fine, but not at a level expected of an MBA graduate.

link to what the lbs says about its MBA alumni.

It is an expensive MBA programme. It's well regarded and most go on to be successful - it's one for the high flyers, yes. Certainly better than going to your local £5k a year near the bottom of the league table poor performing uni. Whether or not you think it's better than some of the other cheaper MBAs from a good uni, is your decision only. There are no guarantees in life. No one can say you'll definitely get a great highly paid job afterwards. But many do.

MBAs from top schools do open doors, but like all qualifications, if you have nothing to back it up you won't get far. It is a gamble.

If I was considering investing £60k of my own money on an MBA I wouldn't use MSE as a serious source of information about the relative value of MBAs from different providers.
loose does not rhyme with choose but lose does and is the word you meant to write.
