I am a 59 (soon to be 60) year old woman, been self employed for about 2 years and receive a small occupational pension (about 3,700 per year).
Is it worth me starting a self-employed pension scheme, and if so any idea what would be the best options to explore.

Depends on what you are trying to achieve. You need to let us know that.if so any idea what would be the best options to explore.
We cant give solutions without knowing objectives. We need more to go on.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. When will your state pension be paid? Do you have other savings and investments? Do you fill your ISAs (cash and S&S)? What is your rate of tax? When would you retire from SE work and want to draw this pension?
there are more things to consider, but like D says we need more to go on.0
