Mortgage advice needed

Hi all,
I'm after a bit of advice if anyone could help me.
2 years ago I was turned down for a mortgage by abbey because I had a default on my credit file. It was only 4 years old at the time so my sister kindly agreed that I could put the mortgage in her name so she and my girlfriend put the house in their name. Me and my gf have been living here ever since. We have recently sold the house and found a new place that we love but I have started to panic that I'm going to have mortgage problems again. We need to put the mortgage in my name now as my sisters earnings won't cover the cost of the new house, plus she will be looking at getting her own place in the next year. I have checked my credit file and the default has now dropped and have a score of 959. We have got a mortgage broker working on this for us but I haven't told him about my past problems yet (mainly because the broker works for the estate agent who we are buying the house from and we don't want to panic the vendor if word got back) firstly do you think I will have problems getting a mortgage now the default has dropped off? And secondly my mortgage broker has applied to abbey again. Will they see that they turned me down 2 years ago and turn me down again based on that? Sorry for the long post and I appreciate any help you can give me. I have been really stressing all weekend over this and hopefully someone can put my mind at rest
