Does anyone know of a body which oversees apprenticeships? Son is currently on an apprenticeship where he recieves no instruction he was taken on with the promise of gainng a qualification but as there is no input from provideno idea how this is going to happen. he is now looking at going to college in september and i am annoyed that the employer will probably just get someone else. i really don't see why they should be allowed to get away with it.

Is the training provider a college or a private organisation?
The complaints procedure should have been explained at the sign up/induction stage and this should be the first step, then, as Noops said contact National Apprenticeship Service or Skills Funding Agency as the funding body.
