Free fabric samples

I recently went to an M&S home store and they had about 30 different fabric samples that you were free to take, they'd be great for card-making!

But if everyone did that, there'd be no samples for GENUINE shoppers to use when trying to choose furniture! I don't think it's right to be encouraging that.
Samples are given out by Companies, at a cost to their business, to provide a service for customers. Not as a free gift for "Crafters".
(I have repeatedly been Stung by the "Freebie Hunters", when offering free samples of my own stock. I considered withrawing the offer, but in the end, that also did me no favours. I try instead, to be more choosy who I send out to, which in turn takes up more time...:()0 -
Also, M&S are a huge company and the freebie hunters out there are often people struggling in these cash strapped times. As long as you put a limit on the amount per customer I don't see the harm.
Thanks for the tip CG. I'll definitely keep an eye out next time I'm in M&S (admittedly not often because it's hella expensive).Debt free 6th December 2014

Wild over reaction to someone putting another point of view. Vicious and aggressive response to gentle suggestion that you may, possibly be spoiling things for a variety of other people. Guilty conscience being repressed or uncontrolled reaction to anyone who crosses you?

Agreed. The comment was made was delivered in a measured way, and was a good point. The reply was rude and vicious.
