Fraud at work

Have been dismissed from mt employment for gross misconduct but have just realized that on one of my returns to work(which i didn't agree with) was signed by someone who wasn't me.
I have the appeal on Tuesday and wondered how much would this influence the decision?

RTW are usually to do with sickness absence. Gross Misconduct rarely is. Without knowing what the GM charge was I would guess the two are unrelated and would say it won't have any influence.

Well there were sickness issues that were raised in the return to work that weren't acted upon that may have affected my judgement and decision making within the role

What does that mean? If you want help, you are going to have to share what exactly is going on.

No one here has the least clue as to the part your RTWs have in your dismissal, so no one will venture a meaningful opinion.

But, I do suggest that for the record you boldly state your claim that the the RTW was not signed by you.
You might as well ask the Wizard of Oz to give you a big number as pay a Credit Referencing Agency for a so-called 'credit-score'

Ok they have dismissed me for blind transferring calls, not making claims and aspect abuse.
I admit that they are correct in this as they have all the calls recorded. But at the time of the incidents i had life threatening illness called cellulitis.
So i had the disciplinary meeting which was adjourned so they could investigate my mitigating circumstances, which included checking my rtw and checking what was said. They sent me these out but my signature on one of them was not mine and i remember not signing it as i had come back to work earlier than i supposed to. The T/l i had admitted that legally i was not supposed to be at work and that they would complete the RTW the next day when i was legally back at work but this didnt happen.

Also they took witness statements that weren't given to me until the disciplinary meeting was reconvened so we not given a chance to prepare a defence. Also on the RTW that was sent to me, it was incomplete as it clearly says on it PTO but nothing on back off RTW.

They also didnt take into account that i had not done this before and wouldnt again.

I have had my appeal but do not hold out much hope

    sorry bout this

I worked in a call centre and the telephone system is called aspect. I worked as a claims adviser and your supposed to answer calls.Blind transferring means putting them through to another department without anyone on the end of the line (from the other department)
