How long to update experian credit file?

Hello, does anybody have any idea when experian update their files? The only negative on my file is that I am not on the electoral register, so in late March I filled in the form and registered, this was followed by a letter confirming that they would enter me on the register and 2 weeks ago I received my voting card. Confident I was now on the register I checked my credit file with Experian and lo a behold it still shows that I'm not on the register!!
My question is does anyone have any idea if it is normal to wait 2 months for file to be updated?
Has anyone else experienced this?.
Thanks in advance for your time in answering this.

I'm on the same boat. I applied at the start of April. My local council add me to the electoral register on 1st May considering I applied before 8th April.
Therefore, I'd have been added to the registrar on Wednesday and now it's just a matter of waiting for the Credit Agencies to update their records. I expect this to happen in the next week or two.0 -
Updates to the rolls are submitted once a month.0

call them up on their members line, there is an automated message about delays on updating electoral roll records. Have a listen, you don't need to speak to anyone. Choose the selections that make out you are a member and that's when you get the message,0

don't hold your breath,
my partner and I have lived at this address 17 years , registered on the electoral roll same month as we moved in but for some reason Experian still insist we are not listed, the other 2 company's have us as being registered for 17 years,
all we get from Experian is once we have registered they will add it to our report,
not funny,
my partner was just refused a mobile phone contract and after us questioning the decision, he was told he needs to register on the electrol roll, very frustrating as we are also in the process of applying for a mortgage

Saving_NOW - we do update the electoral roll information monthly, from information we receive from local councils. I suspect we're working on the April updates right now, so your update should show very soon.
witchy1066 - sorry to hear you have a long-standing problem with your report. If you send details through to customerrelations@uk.experian.com we'll investigate for you. Thanks.
