Full and Final Offers

Hi,

My partner and myself have been in a DMP for approx 4 years with current debts of 37k, recently I offered full and final offers of around 23% which were rejected apart from Santander who said they would accept a partial settlement.

Due to ill health I recently had to leave my job and so currently have no income. I still could have access to £12k that can be made available to me by a family friend to try and settle the debts if creditors agreed.

Please could anyone advise on how to proceed.

Thanks

The fact that you are now unemployed will probably make some creditors re-think their decision. Try making the same offers again but state you are unemployed through ill health and cannot afford any more.
