Tesco Banana cereal bars 39p

Little bargain in Tesco yesterday, Tesco value boxes of 6 Bananana Cereal bars 125g weight half price 39p. These are on the bottom shelf becasue they dont want anyone to buy them and the other flavour is still full priced. Dont know wether this is just a local offer - my boxes have a 01 03 08 best before date on them and the bar code ends in 238268 if that helps anyone identify them.

They are only little bars so usefull as padding in lunchboxes so your sarnies dont wriggle around. Also useful for kids party goodie bags. And to stop adults munching their way through an entire bag of Walkers sensations while on the computer :rotfl:

I have been lucky enough to get these.

Though the label on the shelf at my tescos said 'discontinued' and since hubby and i got the last three boxes on the shelf last week, they have not returned :-(

I have also found the the raisin and coconut variety for 19p a box. These had been moved from the normal shelf position to the reduced/discounted area and I think they disappeared quite quickly in my store.

I wouldnt pay 39p for them.They are absoloutly disgusting.They dont taste of real banana just artificial and toxic.Sorry but I bought these once me and kids thought they were disgusting!Not much healthy about them.
