Is London weighting paid monthly or annually

Morning all.
I have today received my new contract of employment. Thank god it's the BH weekend as I'm going to need all that time to read it.
I get £946 London weighting allowance. I can't seem to work out whether this is paid in a one lump sum or whether its part of my monthly wages.
Anybody else get this ?
I do intend ringing them and asking but as it is a long weekend, I would like to know. I am a bit unnerved by this contract, I know it has to be as detailed and as comprehensive as it can be but there are a couple of things that don't make me sing for joy. It also seems very unfairly weighted in their favour...wouldn't it be nice if I could present them with my terms of employment and say...take it or leave it...:rotfl:

London wighting would usually be added onto your salary and paid monthly.
Some companies also offer a relocation package or 'golden handshake' to new starters which they pay up front - but these payments are usually quite clearly marked as such with details of when you can expect to get it and qualifying criteria.Common sense?...There's nothing common about sense!0 -
Thanks for the quick reply. I can carry on with my day without thinking about it too much. X0
