Is London weighting paid monthly or annually

Morning all.
I have today received my new contract of employment. Thank god it's the BH weekend as I'm going to need all that time to read it.
I get £946 London weighting allowance. I can't seem to work out whether this is paid in a one lump sum or whether its part of my monthly wages.
Anybody else get this ?
I do intend ringing them and asking but as it is a long weekend, I would like to know. I am a bit unnerved by this contract, I know it has to be as detailed and as comprehensive as it can be but there are a couple of things that don't make me sing for joy. It also seems very unfairly weighted in their favour...wouldn't it be nice if I could present them with my terms of employment and say...take it or leave it...:rotfl:

    I've been Money Tipped!
London wighting would usually be added onto your salary and paid monthly.

Some companies also offer a relocation package or 'golden handshake' to new starters which they pay up front - but these payments are usually quite clearly marked as such with details of when you can expect to get it and qualifying criteria.
Common sense?...There's nothing common about sense!

Thanks for the quick reply. I can carry on with my day without thinking about it too much. X
