A version of German potato salad. Cook new pots. In a pyrex bowl put sliced onions and gherkins. Add the pots when soft to the bowl, the heat from them slightly 'cooks' the onions and gherkins. When cool mix with mayo.

Honey and garlic wedges - cut potatoes into wedges leaving skins on, coat with honey and garlic. Cook in oven.

Bread buns, a garden salad, dips and either breadsticks or carrot/cucumber sticks will all bulk out the meat.

Do you have access to Costco?
Their sausages are fantastic and very cheap, you can also get a pack of 4 blocks of halloumi for a few pounds.
They have huge packs of rolls for £2 ish

I stopped bothering with leafy salad at BBQ's because it never got eaten but stuff like HM salsa and HM coleslaw always went quickly
