Lafleur Flute - How do I value it for sale?

Options
Does anyone have any idea how much a secondhand Lafleur flute might be worth? I was bought this flute years ago - or rather it was foisted on me by my parents who insisted on imagining that I was a musical genius - and I hardly ever played it. It has languished in a cupboard ever since and I think that it's about time that it found a better home with someone who will play it. I was hoping to sell in on eBay but I haven't a clue how much it is worth although I know that it cost about £100 when it was bought about 20 years ago

Thanks.

My daughter plays the flute - have to say I've never heard of the make - but ask these people http://www.topwind.com/instrume/flautas.htm
They have a shop in London and sell on commission or just sell for you - this is a link to their secondhand stock list. They may be able to give you a guide price.

TBH I doubt you'll get very much for it. If it's been in a cupboard for all that time, it will need stripping down, new pads, cleaning and then re-building. Re-padding is very expensive.

You might get £20 or £30 if it is without scratches and dents etc, isn't tarnished and you're lucky enough to find someone to buy it.

Do you have a relative (niece/nephew etc) that might like to learn that you can pass it onto?
