May is National Share a Story Month. To celebrate we're inviting you to enter our 100 words short story competition.
Anyone can enter and your story can be on any topic. The only restriction is that your story should be no longer than 100 words. And if 100 words sounds a bit too brief, that’s part of the fun.
Who can enter
There is no upper age limit; if you can write, you can take part*.
There are four age categories
Submit your story
The competition opens on 1 May and closes on 31 May.
Winners will see their stories broadcast on Radio Kent and printed in the Kent on Sunday newspaper.
Winners and runners up will also be invited to an awards ceremony, where they will be presented with commemorative certificates.
