The dreaded D0 Tax code - Advice please

Hi thanks to all for help.
The wage is for month 1 April
The payroll numbers are slightly different actually (I didn't notice., not very observant ha ha).
payslip one - usual payroll number
payslip two - the usual number then -5
payslip three -the usual number then -4
They are all separate for gross pay with tax and NI (different codes) on each
Thanks
You seem to be three different people - as the NI number is notoriously NOT a unique personal identifier (it is only to easy to use the wrong one or someone else's) don't expect the NU to be self correcting, [I bet there is a government scandal being covered up here, where the clerks just have to accept that their records are wrong, when bullied enough] So don't expect the NI, perhaps 1/3rd of the tax you are paying, to self correct during the rest of the tax year.
You really do need to post the actual figures on the three pay slips.0 -

OP sent me the figures by pm last night as s/he wasn't keen on posting them on the forum. From the figures it appears that the tax and NI has been worked out from the 3 payslips added together so from that point of view it's correct.
OP is going to check with payroll and with HMRC about the D0 code as it's still not clear where that is to be used. Employer may be planning on combining 2 of the 3 payslips into one using the 944L code and paying the 3rd one separately and asked HMRC to provide a tax code which should be D0 based on the figures. Or there may be a mistake and HMRC think this is an entirely different job from last year.
As the the NI code being different I hadn't noticed that so perhaps the OP can clarify what was meant by that?0 -

Thanks for all help.
Now I'm with you. NI D will be on payslips 1 and 2 where you also have your pension contributions. D is the letter used when you're a member of a contracted out final salary pension. Are you a teacher by any chance?
Payslip 3 didn't have pension contributions taken for whatever reason so they have used the normal A category. Perhaps you should ask payroll while you're talking to them why Payslip 1 & 2 counts for pension purposes but Payslip 3 doesn't?0 -

Thanks very much. No, not a teacher but a similar profession.
Brilliant - I will ask them that too.
I'll let you know how I get on0
