Cuisinart Ice Cream Maker

Was in Lakeland in Windsor today and in their bargain/reduced section they had lots of Cuisinart Ice Cream Makers reduced to £99.99.

I'm not 100% sure but pretty certain it was this one http://www.amazon.co.uk/Cuisinart-Professional-Ice-Cream-Maker/dp/B000H78FLC/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1367606811&sr=8-1&keywords=cuisinart+ice+cream+maker

Not in the same league but much cheaper/aimed at ice-cream making kids - £9.99 instead of £24.99: http://www.lakeland.co.uk/16193/Churn-and-Chill-Ice-Cream-Maker

Yes, but that needs the bowl freezing in the freezer, the Cuisinart have a built-in freezing unit.

I know it seems a big investment but if you have the space it really is worth investing in one with a built in refridgeration unit.I have one and have had for a few years and the ice cream they make is amazing and you dont have to have a large freezer bowl permanently taking up space in your freezer

Believe me, I am sooooo tempted! I stock my freezer up with Carte D'Or Lavazza when it's on offer - it's really the only ice cream I bother with and the thought of making my own endless supply of coffee ice cream - yummmmmm!!

No - it's not online and I don't know if other branches of Lakeland has them on offer.

Windsor has the whole of the first floor devoted to 'Bargains' and 'Clearance'.

I checked by telephone today - they still have plenty and the model number is ICE50BCU - £184 on Amazon.

I had a quick look in the Chelmsford branch, and they were still at full price. Annoying, as would love one of these!

They did have a different model in Windsor at full price.

Perhaps Chelmsford would be able to get one of the reduced ones sent to them from Windsor - worth a try.
