DMP and Reclaiming bank charges

Basically im in a DMP and owe a certain bank about 1300 - now a few years back a direct debit went out and made me overdrawn. I got charged £30 for this and a further £20 every 2 - 3 days so by the end of the month i owed about £400 in bank charges this being when i was on about 800 - 900 a month in wages.
This then had a knock on effect for a few months until my only option was to take out a loan with the bank in question for 1100 plus 700 interest at 23.9% apr or something silly like that.
Now im paying them about 35 a month but getting charged 12 in interest so basically have paid in about 120 in the last 6 months alone but only paid back about 70
Does anyone think i can claim this back whilst being in a DMP cos im basically back to owing the same as i did 5 months ago!!!
many thanks
Amy

Yes you can reclaim the charges whilst you are in a DMP. You can not reclaim interest though.Don't lie, thieve, cheat or steal. The Government do not like the competition.
