looking good for a getting a job !!
temp to perm with quite a respectable company, good repution, media/promo's:j
I imagine it to be sales/selling phone based - working to targets?
have I got it right?
Got to thank the National Careers Service for this one - the advisor slipped me their details as a company to approach when I was in the jobcentre, who would believe it! I may be out to work next week

Hey !
I would say that telesales is either something you can do or something you can't. I've managed a few telesales teams and there is never the space or funds to carry an under producing telesales consultant, so it's pretty cut throat! Most telesales jobs will literally take anyone who makes them smile or laugh in an interview.
I always found business to consumer (calling people in there homes) much easier that business to business, as with B2B you spend your days trying to squeeze past snotty receptionist to the person that can actually make a decision. It just p'ssed me off, but if your calm and determined, people do make good commission doing it.
Give it a go at the very least, you'll know after a week if its something you want to do.
If you hate it, don't stay. When you try and get a job through an agency later on, if they spot telesales its all they flippin' offer ya!
Best of luck! Remember to keep yourself lively throughout the interview - lots of nodding and smiling !
