Tesco "keep fresh" banannas

Bought these bananas at the end of March with a use by date of the 4th April. It is about to become the 4th of May and they are still green!
The bananas are still firm, have developed one or two small brown spots and they are not as green as when I bought them, but still green all the same. They are just sitting in the kitchen worktop, not in a fridge.
Would you eat them, even if by some miracle they turn yellow?

There appears to be an element of risk involved with that strategy!:D0 -
Maybe they would slow down my own ageing process, if I ate them. That, or stop me turning yellow when I go on holiday.0

Open one and let us know what it looks like inside.
Always wondered how bananas call travel 1000's of miles to get to stores but go bad by the time i buy them and get then home.

Just back from a weeks holiday and the bananas are mainly yellow with a little hint of green. Thats about 7 weeks since I bought them!
I don't have much to eat in the house yet, so I might have one for my lunch.
If you don't hear back, it didn't go well !0 -
