Temping and interviews

Normally I would jump at a couple of weeks of temping but I have had to turn it down as it clashes with a couple of interviews for permanent work. The employer apparently needs the temp in every day and my interviews aren't very local so it was a no go as couldn't just nip out for an hour for the interview. Should I mention this to the JC as obviously I will mention the interviews but I don't want to be seen as turning down work (not too happy to turn it down myself but the interviews are for good opportunities).

Do not mention having turned down anything to the JobCenter! Seeing a temp agency is not the same thing as being offered a couple of weeks work, so don't give them any excuse to sanction you. And they will, given the slightest hint0

Same advice really never tell jobcentre you have turned down any chance of work. They are getting really strict on sanctions these days.0

What the JC doesn't know, the JC can't sanction you over.Public appearances now involve clothing. Sorry, it's part of my bail conditions.0
