Thanks, your diary is one of the one's I've been keeping up with! Hubby's new job, the debts going down :j , your operation (poor you), the nails, etc. See, I have been paying attention!!!
I'm desperately waiting for payday on Friday so I can see where I stand. I get variable bonus each month so never know exactly what my wage will be until it goes in the bank. Also hoping my MOT won't be too much. And have to put my daughter's car thru it's MOT too (she's just passed her theory but doing her A levels and not working right now so I'm covering it until she's finished).
Finding it quite exciting knowing exactly what's happening with my money now. I think empowered is the word, lol. It is totally an obsession but certainly not one of the worst I could have...
I'm going out at the weekend (first time in about 6 wks) and it's a birthday meal for a friend and where I would normally never dream of going and not drinking, I'm just going for dinner then driving home afterwards. Part of me doesn't really feel like going on a bender ('cos it will be messy!) but mainly I think it's because I have better uses for the money and I'll still have a good time, just leave a bit earlier than everyone else!
Anyway, I've rambled again but thank you for your inspiring diary and good luck with your debt.
