Help Please

Dear All

I really would like some help please, I am trying to fill out the BR forms on line and have come across the following questions:

Personal Pension Plan - I have a work one, but questions seem to be based around a private one, what do I enter here?

Date Debt Incurred - for catalogues and credit cards these have been over a period of time what date should I enter here?

On address look up for Nat West & Mint CC the address comes back as Royal Bank of Scotland should I used this address?

Also looking for OHs contribution to household expenses, what should I put here?

Assets - what are they looking for here, daughters trampoline worth about £08, computer worth......? TV worth next to nothing.........

Only 36% of form filled in but it took nearly 2 hours to do

Hi OTM, the form filling can be a bit of a nightmare.

    1. Not sure if you include a works pension.
    2. The date you originally started the CC/agreement/catalogue, or an approx date if you don't know. But don't worry, the OR can find out anyway.
    3. Yes...I did.
    4. Whatever OH contribution is to cover normal household expenditure. For example it could be 50% of the expenses, that's if your OH does contribute of course.
    5. This really applies to very valuable stuff, not TV's etc.

Hope this helps, others will offer help too, so keeping asking if you're unsure.

I kept changing and updating things on the forms, so it does take time.

Thanks for your quick response, I am trying to get all this done so I can go to the High Court on Friday as I have to visit my elderly mother next week, my sister has said to pay the fees from OHs account and she will give me the money to get this over and done with as soon as possible (think this is affecting my mothers health and doesn't help that I am crying down the phone to her every day as I feel sooooo ashamed to have let this happen).

Please don't feel ashamed OTM, you have a problem and you are dealing with it. BR is a positive step, it might not feel like it just now, but keep strong and don't be too hard on yourself.

Personal Pension Plan - I have a work one, but questions seem to be based around a private one, what do I enter here? You must enter your pension. I'm in an NHS occupational pension scheme, & though I put that down, the OR still wanted more detail.

Date Debt Incurred - for catalogues and credit cards these have been over a period of time what date should I enter here? You can put something like 'over the last 5 years' or however long you've had problems paying them.

By assets they mean things like jewellery, car, antiques, plasma tv - anything with a reasonable re-sale value. Ordinary household items don't need to be included.

    Hope that helps :)

I can't add much to all that, as the others have done a great job with your questions.:D

However, I can say not to worry to much about what addresses to put down for banks etc. The OR has an official database of the contact addresses they have to use for most major banks and financial institutions, and can access the FSA's database if needed to get info that they don't have.

Keep asking questions if you have any more. :)
