Amazon are now selling the White (8gb) Wii U for 149, like ASDA.

    Thanks, this might save me some hassle as I want a box to play iPlayer through my TV over wireless. Could anyone confirm this can do it?

    I hadn't thought that it might do this....that's a really interesting question. Hopefully someone will answer.

    You could always pick up a cheap secondhand (original) Wii for about £35 - 40 (from Game, CeX etc)

    That can play iPlayer and Netflix wirelessly - as well as Wii games of course.
