SSP and statutory holidays

I have been off sick with two dicky knees for 3 weeks now and it looks like it will be the 13th of May before I can return....in the meantime I am being paid SSP of £86.70 per week [not worth two hoots, but thats another matter]
Am just wondering how my pay will work out with this coming Monday being a statutory holiday....will I get a days holiday instead of SSP for that day, or will I miss out on a statutory and just get SSP?

This is the correct way - you are not on holiday if you are on sick leave.
It has to be one or the other. You could ask to be paid for the holiday instead and not receive SSP for the same day.0 -
You should get ssp and your holiday is still there for you to take later in the year.Be Alert..........Britain needs lerts.0
