Pension transfer

I have two pensions; one a £17k stakeholder; another £50k company AVC with no ties. Do any of the SIPP providers offer any inducements to move these and when do the offers tend to be given?

No logical reason why they would. The days of enhancements with tie ins are gone. Plus, typically you paid for those enhancements in increased annual charges.

Just contact Hargreaves Lansdown and ask to be put on their mailing list and you'll get plenty of such offers. Near the end of the tax year is a popular time but with them it's nearly constant, switching between money and pens and prize draws.

They were offering a prize draw for transfers before the end of last month Audi a2 top prize, and other smaller ones.

Have no use for allegedly high value pens or a draw. Will keep my eyes peeled for a cash offer.

I doubt that will happen as clean charging makes that sort of thing unlikely.
