Bankrupt (discharged) and canada square PPI question

I have just received a letter from Canada square operations regarding my egg loan from approx 8 years ago saying (in basic terms) that I had PPI on my loan, I may have been mis-sold it and if I want to complain to fill out the enclosed forms.
Firstly is this legitimate (I have not contacted anyone regarding reclaiming PPI but I have recently registered on credit check sites to clean up credit files).
Secondly, as I went bankrupt in 2009 with this loan included is it worth reclaiming? I am assuming any money I reclaim should rightly go to OR even though I am discharged from bankruptcy.
Thanks to anyone who can offer advice or info

Any money would go to the OR and you would be responsible for the fees.BSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0 -
If it comes from Canada Square Operations, then it is legitimate.
But no point claiming as any monies would not be yours, and technically you no longer have the right to put in a claim yourself.
You could forward the letter to your OR I suppose if you want.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB
