Help getting 6 weeks wages
fuddle

I started employment on 18th March and ceased 25th April. I ceased due to panic attacks and anxiety induced chest pain. The job and conditions were too much for me and it was agreed, but only verbally, that there will be no notice period and I could cease employment.
I am owed pay for 2 weeks of 42.5 hours of pay in March. I missed the pay run for this period apparently. I have fought for this part of my wages very hard this morning and asked, over the phone, for an explanation as to why this part at least had not been paid to me. The answer was that I was aware of it and because I was aware of this I have no reason to quibble about it being tied in with april's pay.
I have also worked 4 weeks of 42.5 hours (minus 1 day) in April and I'm due payment for these hours worked. Today is pay day and I have not received any money at all. Work have said that they over paid me by 4 days in April's pay run and because of me ceasing employment they have to reconfigure the figures. They did not tell me I would not get paid on time and worryingly so they cannot tell me how much I will earn or when I am likely to be paid. They refuse to even let me know what the March's figures, which are not included in the recalculation but are included in the pay run.
I feel I should have access to March's wages at least and should be told when I can expect payment of these wages.
I have called ACAS who have told me to put my demands in a letter, stipulating a time limit and then passing onto a tribunal. I am posting to the forum to check if this is the right thing to do and hopefully to get information and back up to support my claim.
They say I will get my pay but they cannot tell me when.
Basically any help you can give me in getting my pay would be great fully received.

Yes, you can lodge a claim at tribunal for illegal withholding of wages.0

Letter sent recorded delivery.
I have insisted they pay what is owed in 7 days or I'm referring them to tribunal. I have been told today that they should have informed me I wouldn't be paid, informed me when I'm likely to be paid and informed how much I should be paid. I have also been told that to not have March's wages is with holding pay in the eyes of employment law even if my employers think it is ok to lump sum the two months payments together for ease at their end.
Does this sound right?0
