Shared online storage for guests' pics of the wedding?

Options
Hi all

I know there are some 'paid for' services that offer an account where guests can upload their images of your big day to be shared to everyone else but is there a moneysaving way of doing this? Having briefly searched this on Google it seems that Flickr have multiple users against its T&Cs (so I'd guess a number of others do too). I figured you guys would know if anyone did! What I don't want is something where people have to set up their own account as it's unlikely that people will be bothered if it seems like a hassle.

Ideally I'd just like to get some cards printed with straightforward upload details to leave on tables - much like a replacement for the disposable cameras that people used to use.

Another option would be hosting a bespoke website if there was a template to achieve what I need?

Thnks in advance for any suggestions...

:D

Having had another click around I've come across weddingpartyapp.com that seems to fit the bill...

It has smartphone apps available for live sharing and also allows for hi-res download via the website...

Has anyone any experience of this app? I know it is free but I'm only going to get one go at this so I don't really want to commit to a system that hasn't been thoroughly tried and tested - appstore reviews seem to indicate it's pretty good.

    Anybody used it?

I came across wedpics.com the other day, which looks quite good :) You can upload straight from a smart phone, or from a computer. You get a code to give your guests which gives them access to upload or just view your album.
  • You can get guests who use Instagram to post photos using a hashtag you've decided on #mrandmrssmith01092013 for example, and it collects all the photos together.
If guests don't have Instagram they can use their facebook log in so don't need to sign up.

    A quick update...

After trialling weddingparty and wedpics I've decided to go with WedPics. They were both great but we just preferred the look of WedPics

It's really easy for guests to sign up and join in. I've also purchased a domain and redirected it to our WedPics online album so guests don't have to remember a clumsy URL to upload their pics from normal cameras when they get home. Just gonna get some info cards printed up now to leave around the venue on the day. May even look into rigging up a laptop to a projector for the evening and have a live feed of the uploaded pics streaming... Lol :T
