i calmly stated a question in the first instance and you came on insinuating i was just trying to get free information from people instead of paying a broker...so ofcourse i'm annoyed..

Open forum, anyone allowed to post.
Broker comment wasnt mine, but in your bizarre stream of consciousness and victim led approach that obviously isn't important.
Also if you are deducting expenses from your home in work allowances then this impacts on your principal residence allowance for capital gains, but I don't honk your listening to anything you don't lie, anyway0 -

my apologies for making the mistake of attributing that comment to you...
thanks for bringing up the point about capital gains if you claim deductions, but we are renting at present and have done for years.
when you claim deductions for home business setups, in a house that you own, you set it up differently , by creating a rental licence so you don't end up with a capital gains liability on the house..depending on how much you earn, depends on whether its worth doing..
contractoruk has some good information on how to do that. http://www.contractorcalculator.co.uk

we've got a great accountant who knows the ropes also and looks after us, but thanks for thinking of us!0
