OS Disinfection of fabric

Hi. I asked for help on here a couple of months back with a carrycot I'd been given (it stunk of ciggie smoke). Thanks to all the advice, I've got rid of the smell! So, thank you!

Now that I've got rid of the smell I want to 'disinfect' the fabric on the carrycot, how would I do this? Would it be wise to use some tea tree oil in warm water and wipe it over? Would it need rinsing after?
Any help greatly apprecited - and thank you all again :T

I'd probably spray it with anti-bacterial spray and let it dry out, not very old style but I'd be happy that it was clean.
