My debt and learning to budget

Right firstly.. don't know where to start, so I'll start here... a year aho, I got into pay day loan hell.. 1 little loan, and then it spiralled... 4/5 loans per month just to try and re coup money for bills etc.. anyway, I soon found myself in debt to the tune of 10,000.. fun. Mate loaned me extra money to pay some of my debt off.. But the plus side is that, I have to budget now to pay back.. after everything I pay each month, I am left with about £90 for petrol, food and general stuff. Its only me so I dont have to account for others.
I've never really budgeted so now I have to.. and some of the lessons I have learnt and that I came across, the superscrimper book (based on C4's tv series) and from here too. Vouchers are good, buying vegetables loose rather than buying prepacked, discounted bread at the end of the day is great for freezing..
for my car, I cleaned it out myself rather than going to a car cleaning place saving myself £12.. and did a better job.
home baking rather than buying biscuits and stuff. Opening a separate bank account to transfer money into for the week and leaving main account card at home so I am not tempted to use the card at the shops..
Also, ebay is a great way to flog any old stuff you dont want.
Shopping lists, also having a mantra of.. can I afford it? no.. ok next..
I guess the point of me writing this is to myself really.. Saving money is a way of life.. why would you want to pay full price for something when there's always a cheaper way of doing it. :money:
Learning to start again in every aspect one step at a time..

I thought I would give you another tip whilst I saw this, is to if you can, start putting aside £1..£2 whilst you can, so you build up enough money for emergencies as it sounds like you don't have an emergency fund. This will also help you in the future so that you don't turn to pay day loans again :)

Another tip, Always be on the lookout for receipts outside places like tesco, cash in on someone elses club card points. You would not believe how many people who do not have a club card, buy lunch, and a drink etc at lunch time and throw their receipts.
