Terms and Conditions

1. This Promotion is only open to residents of the UK, Channel Isles and Isle of Man aged 18 or over only excluding employees or agents of Tyrrells or anyone professionally connected to this Promotion.
2. No purchase is necessary to enter. A valid Facebook account and internet access is required.
3. To Enter: Visit <a href="https://www.facebook.com/notes/tyrrells-crisps/win-a-beach-hut-terms-conditions/29868423376#"&gt;www.facebook.com/TyrrellsCrisps and click on the ‘Win a Beach Hut’ tab. Enter your details into the form provided and press the submit button. Maximum of one entry per person per week.
4. This Promotion is open from 00.01am on Wednesday May 1st 2013 until 11.59pm on Tuesday October 1st 2013. Within the promotional period, there will be weekly draws.
5. The Weekly Prizes: Each week, for 22 weeks, there will beone box of Cornishware, containing 4 x Cornishware mugs, available to be won.
6. The Grand Prize: 1 x bespoke “beach hut” that can be erected in your garden or any land on which you have permission (see article 10). (Maximum size 10’ x 6’ x 6’)
7. Winner Selection: For your total confidence, the draws will be conducted by PromoVeritas, the promotional verification service, from all valid entries received within the relevant period. Draws will be conducted within 5 working days of each weekly/final closing date. One entrant will be selected at random to receive the relevant prize.
8. Winners will be notified using the email address provided at the time of entry within 7 days of the draw. Winners will have 28 days from the date that the notification was sent to claim his/her prize by sending a reply to the email address from which the notification from the Promoter was received.
9. In the event that a winner or substitute winner is unreachable, ineligible, or fails to claim the prize in the time required, the winner or substitute winner shall forfeit their prize and it will be awarded to a an alternative entrant selected in the same way.
10. Additional Beach Hut Conditions
    1. It is the responsibility of the winner to ensure that appropriate permission is in place prior to any work commencing.
    2. Beach hut will only be built on a firm, level area, larger than the footprint of the hut to allow working space. This can be grass or soil, but patio slabs or a concrete base will help increase the lifespan of the hut.
    3. Access to the location is required. Tight paths and steep steps will need to be avoided where possible.
    4. The hut will be made of good quality materials and will be fit for purpose. Once the hut has been built, the builders/winner will mutually inspect the hut. The winner will then be required to sign an affadavit releasing the promoter of liability.
    5. Hut must be completed by October 1st 2014.
    6. It is the responsibility of the winner to ensure that the hut is insured against, but not limited to, storm, flood, fire damage.
11. Only one weekly prize may be won per entrant during the promotional period.
12. The Prizes carry no cash value, are non-transferable and may not be substituted by the winner. No compensation will be payable if the winner is unable to use the prize as stated. If the winner is unable to take his/her prize within the stated period, the Promoter reserves the right to offer the prize to another randomly chosen entrant.
13. No responsibility is accepted for entries lost, damaged or delayed as a result of any network, computer hardware or software failure of any kind. Proof of transmission, posting or sending will not be accepted as proof of receipt.
14. By entering this Promotion you (the “participant”) agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
15. The Promoter reserves the right at its absolute discretion to disqualify Entries which it considers do not comply with these terms and conditions or any participant who it reasonably believes has interfered with the fair running of this Promotion.
16. The Promoter shall have the right, where necessary, to undertake all such action as is reasonable to protect itself against fraudulent or invalid claims including, without limitation, to require further verification as to the identity, age, and other relevant details of a participant.
17. Entries must be made by the participant, and must not be made through agents or third parties. Proof of identity may be requested.
18. The promoter reserves the right to reduce or extend the competition on a weekly basis
19. Please allow up to 28 days for delivery of the weekly prizes. The timings for the hut will be mutually agreed between the winner and the Promoter but is likely to be within 2 months of winning.
20. No bulk, third party or organised group entries will be accepted.
21. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
22. The Promoter reserves the right to publish the name and county of residence of the winners. The winners may be required to participate in the Promoter’s marketing and promotional activities and by entering the Promotion consents to such participation.
23. The names and counties of the winners will be made available at the end of the promotion, by sending a SAE to Tyrrells Win a Beach Hut Winners List, PO Box 101, Leigh, Lancs, WN7 1WQ.
24. Entries will become the property of the Promoter (including all intellectual property rights in the entry) and will not be returned.
25. The Promoter will only use the personal details supplied for the administration of the promotion and for no other purpose, unless we have your consent. The Promoter may disclose entrants’ personal information to its contractors and agents to assist in conducting this prize draw or communicating with entrants. 27. The Promoter shall not be liable for any interruption to this Promotion whether due to force majeure or other factors beyond the Promoter’s control.
28. This Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook. You are providing your information to Tyrrells and not to Facebook.
29. By entering the Promotion, the participant agrees to release the Promoter from any liability whatsoever for any claims, costs, injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising out of or in connection with the Promotion or with the acceptance, possession, attendance at or use of any prize (except death or personal injury caused by the Promoter’s negligence, for fraud, or otherwise as prohibited by law).
30. This Promotion is governed by English law.
