Interest Rate problems

Seventh Anniversary Combo Breaker
I have a loan with ge money and they are charging me 11.76% for it. When I first took it out it was 6%, some four years ago. I have contacted ge by email and got no reply, and by phone and told to email them. Can anyone point me in the right direction ?

    Are you sure it was 6% APR, or 6% flat rate, if it was flat rate the APR will be about double that.

    Was it a variable rate?
