Help with ideas please? (job from home)

Hi there... I'm a creatively-minded ex-primary school teacher who now has to work from home as a result of family illness.
For the last 6 years or so, I've been doing freelance work (website design, writing, illustrating, online tutoring), but I need something that is more consistent. It doesn't have to be full-time particularly, but I'm looking for something that is permanent and home-based (with the option of going to an office in the South Wales area one day a week).
After trawling job sites, company sites and emailing everyone I can think of, I'm at a loss to find permanent home-based work. I realise there are other threads out there that deal with homeworking opportunities, but none that I can find deal with permanent work.
Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks for your time!

Have a look at Odesk or freelancer
You have to build a profile and upload a cv of sorts and then you bid for work thats available.
Odesk is a bit low paid as there is a lot of foreign workers bidding low amounts as obviously the money goes further in their coutries than here.
But you can get some decent regular work on there - running companies social media accounts is a nice easy one. But there's loads of other options.
Good LuckNot really comping any more as too ill - but hoping to win £1000+ in 2017 in cash prizes - watch this space!0 -
Thankyou, Treacle1983... Will check those out. Have used Elance for several years, but nothing permanent has ever come of it (which is what I need - a bit of consistency in my income).0

It seems you have some geniune skills thier and I think you should be looking to start a business if you want to do something from home then an actal job...If your website design is up to standard why not start thier?
I don't think their will be many at home jobs with a consistent income unless you get yourself an actal job working for an individual company...and these are very rare and in most cases people worked thier before hand but then started doing it at home. *Most* advertised home jobs are scams & usally require upfront money or a very low income..i.e 25p a survey or w/e
I do belive tele marketing is one of those things that can be done from home easily as an actal job but again its finding someone who will let you do it at home.
I think you'd do better to start a business though, money won't be consistant but its not like you have many over heads with a website design business so its perfect if you don't have any capital.People don't know what they want until you show them.0 -
Your experience and digital skills would be a good fit to get into Instructional Design work, creating and developing elearning content.
There is currently quite a few work from home roles being advertised that want K12 or primary experience, average day rates for contract is £120 to £500 depending on sector and complexity.
I would have a look at all the elearning groups on linkedin as a starting point and contact agencies like Blue Eskimo and Instinct Resourcing.0
