Hi all, I have a quick question regarding the lovely people at Mackenzie Hall. I'm about to send a letter to them letting them know that I am refusing to accept the debt they're chasing as its statute barred plus I was made bankrupt. Should I send copies of my bankruptcy documents along with this letter seeing as I've already told them about this or should I not bother? Also should I send the letter to their registered/head office in London or to Kilmarnock where the original letter came from?

I'd say send to Kilmarnock.
And the bankruptcy argument should cover it. If you just quote the date you were declared bankrupt, they can see that their debt pre-dates this and if they doubt you they can take it up with the Official Receiver.
If you've already told them this then this is harassment and you should report to FOS and OFT.0 -
Send it to both addresses. I wouldn't even bother to mention the fact that its statute barred, you being bankrupt should be suffice. Send them a copy of your bankruptcy order.
