afternoon guys. didn't want you all to think I'd forgotten about the thread, someone spiked my cola's with alcohol last night and my head is full of mince!
I'll have some brekkie and then find last weeks thread for everyone's targets but feel free to post your totals from last week and I'll edit as I go along.
xxx
as promised last weeks targets,
babes21 £50
ciara2712 £0
slowelyfadng £20
redsquirrel80 £15 £13.47
IA £15
inspiremetosave £15
weegiedfw £40
pap £5.50
emptypocketz £35
beemuzed £50
bobblehat £50
rog2 £40 £52
savvykaz £30
gemmzie £10
scaredycat £25
brummiebabe £30
em1982 £20
Last week I did really well, only had two nsd's but the days I spent it was only £1odds each day so no big spends till yesterday when I bought a suitcase set and went out, but am still happy with the spends. This week is my last before payday so am going to try not to spend much of whats left in the budget pots then put it all towards holiday savings!
now a little word from our much missed moozie (sending big big hugs xxx), incidentally does anyone on here hear from her at all, would be nice just to know she's ok.
'Now for anyone looking in, please feel free to join - the more the merrier! Basically, decide on the amount you want to spend up to from Sunday until the end of the working day on Friday then pledge it here and off we go! The challenge is about incidental spending and not for stuff that should be budgeted elsewhere such as bills, groceries, debt repayment etc but you decide what to include at the end - this is about changing your habits and improving your recording of your spends more than anythng else.
The reason the challenge is up to Friday is that I like to give myself a day off the counting and let my hair down a bit'

Hi LJ - As I said yesterday, I struggled to stick within my £40 budget last week - in fact I went £12 over.
But this week I have only £50 until I am paid on Friday. So tomorrow I will pay cash for my train ticket (£47.00) which I will get back as soon as I get to work. I need to top up my Oyster card - £10, so I SHOULD have £40.00 available for the week.
Hope that makes sense. :beer:I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.

Hello! Spent £13.47 last week. Will try for £15 again this week - shouldn't be too hard as I've only got £7 in my purse (and £5 in the bank which I might take out if it looks like it'll be needed).. roll on payday on Thursday (when I will have to resist the urge to go mad and spend loads
)... haven't done usual weekly grocery shop this weekend and am trying to live off what's in the cupboards so spends should be bus fares and a few bits of fruit & veg to liven things up!

welcome silkglade... we do unbugetted things, so most of us have a budget for food anyways, this is little 'treats on top... ie toiletries/chocolate/coffees/extra spends. However you can include food if you so wish0 -
Ummm... well I don't think I should really say what I've spent this week... it's a bit scary so instead I'll just say that our budget is £20 for this week...Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

hi lyn
well last week my budget was £5.50 and i spent £25.38  a shocking £19.88 over budget, but i did buy a gift in there but i did pig out :rotfl: this week i will aim for £6.50... today i spent £1 on my cocacola habit... i am not allowed it really but its the only thing that gives me 'happy' hormones... however i got mum to buy me some while she want shopping (big bottles) so they were free so i shouldnt spend too much on cocacola this week  in theory... have a good week all and keep it low :T
